Teri Meri Dooriyan 3rd July Written Update

Angad informs Sahiba that an FIR (First Information Report) contains her signature. Sahiba denies it, claiming it’s impossible. The inspector presents her signature on the FIR, comparing it to her signature on her ID card. Sahiba insists that she never signed it. Angad warns her to stop lying, but the inspector cautions him not to pressure his wife. Angad accuses Sahiba of pressurizing everyone and questions her lack of shame in accusing a senior citizen and putting him behind bars. Sahiba expresses her disappointment, stating that he never truly understood her, and she feels pained to see Akaal imprisoned.

Angad forcefully takes Sahiba away, accusing her of lying. The inspector intervenes and takes Sahiba to her office. Sahiba reassures the inspector that she is not worried because she herself has been a victim of domestic abuse but fought bravely and sought justice. Sahiba maintains that she never filed a complaint or visited that particular police station. However, the inspector presents footage in which Sahiba describes being tortured by Akaal and his family, expressing fear for her life. Sahiba is shocked and denies being the person in the video, not knowing who recorded it or how it ended up at the police station.

The inspector summons her subordinate and shows a CCTV footage of Sahiba entering the police station and filing the FIR. The subordinate confirms her identity by comparing her face to her ID card. Sahiba insists that it was an imposter and not her. The constable mentions that Sahiba sat in the inspector’s office for over an hour. The inspector explains that Sahiba has filed multiple charges against Akaal and made sure he would not receive bail. Sahiba pleads with them not to do that. The constable suggests that Sahiba needs a medical checkup, as her mental balance may have been affected by her in-laws’ torture. Back at home, a doctor examines Japjyoth and observes that she has never seen her so ill before, possibly due to shock. Manveer dismisses it as a personal matter they can’t explain. The doctor administers an injection to Japjyoth and determines that hospital admission is unnecessary. The entire family continues their habit of verbally abusing Sahiba. Gurleen expresses her desire to say something, but Manveer warns her not to dare support Sahiba.

Angad’s lawyer informs him that he cannot secure bail for Akaal since he is unaware of the evidence Sahiba has submitted. Angad insists that the lawyer must arrange bail at any cost. Sahiba approaches them and pleads with Akaal to believe her and trust that she didn’t file the complaint. Angad forcefully pulls her away and questions whether she convinced the inspector to release Akaal. Sahiba explains that the inspector has video evidence where someone disguised as her gives a statement about her in-laws’ torture. Angad accuses Sahiba of changing her statement frequently, while she desperately pleads for him to believe her. The inspector interrupts and warns Angad to stay away from his wife, adding that due to the high-profile nature of the case, she will arrange the best public prosecutor for Sahiba. Sahiba declares that she doesn’t need a lawyer. Members of an NGO enter and assure Sahiba that they will help her seek justice. Sahiba refuses their assistance and asks the inspector to keep them away from her. Angad informs Akaal that he will seek help from the home minister and DIG. The drama continues…

In the preview: Inder suggests that since Sahiba hurt them the most by filing a case against Akaal, Angad must divorce her. Angad reluctantly signs the divorce papers. Sahiba asks Angad how she can make him understand that she didn’t
